Anyway, long time no see guys! It's been...1 year, I guess? Anyway, I'm doing this because: 1. I'm bored and 2. I'm bored. Hope you enjoy!
87. Chris: I do not really like Chris at all. Chris, used to be a fairly decent character but later seasons have put him down the crapper. I would like to say I don't want to see him again but despite my utter hatred of him, he IS technically the face of the franchise so it'd probably be weird seeing him not host TD at least. Even Chef would not be that good without Chris. I guess, what I'd rather see is Chris being toned down. Hopefully in later seasons, he can be close to his TDI self.
86. Mike: An offensive piece of jack that also used to be my favorite TD character. Of course, the whole favorite thing was kind of iffy with me, I never actually watched ROTI in English and only in French. Back then, I thought Mike was kind of...adorable? In All Stars however, well that happened. While I do DISLIKE him, I at least can see what they were trying to do with this character. They just failed miserably at it, to be honest. Mike is disgusting and boring, but he isn't as bad as Chris. Chris is an evil jackass, while Mike is just offensive.
85. Zoey: More or less wasted potential. Zoey had potential to at least be a decent character, but they decided to throw all that out the window and make her a very boring and boy centric character. I would like for them to at least explore the indie chick side of her character and they do...in her audition tape. And that's bad, you shouldn't introduce a character's defining trait in a short clip and then throw it out the window. While Zoey is boring, she at least seems like a nice character and her design is really good. She was a finalist in the wrong season, still.
84. Cameron: Bleh, really bleh. Cameron had not much substance to him from the start. He started off as a bubble boy, then became a finalist in a very cliche finale, and somehow got even worse. He has this weird interaction with Gwen and comes off as being sadistic when using Scott as shark bait, I mean, what? Cameron is one of the few characters I can say that didn't get ruined in AS, because to be honest his character never had much substance to begin with. He started off as a bubble boy and ended as a bubble boy...with some friends and a stalker.
83. Zeke- Only here because of what they did to him. It was a terrible idea and they wasted anything they could've potentially done with him. In Island they could've explored his background, but they booted him first.
82. Rodney- Creepy, so fricking creepy. Like, TDPI is not a goldmine of wonderful beautiful characters, I know that. But this guy and his stereotype is just putrid. I don't particularly see how anyone can put Dave as their least fav, and not this guy. Sure Dave's in more episodes but this guy manages to be putrid in all of his 4 episodes.
81. B- B was a last minute addition to ROTI. And it shows, oh dear god does it show. B is a genius, but it's all nullified because Scott sabotages his plans. And the worst part is that he's pretty much catapult fodder from the word go. B hardly tries to defend himself when Scott pushes the blame on him, which gets him eliminated. He is a generic, bland, genius character that for some reason people got mad at Scott eliminating him, which is weird because Scott was a villain.
80. Amy- Amy is...very horrible. She's rude and cruel to everyone, which begs the question: How is Amy more liked among the contestants if she is a terrible person? Not to mention Amy has no real reason to be on the season besides Samey, she only even joined because Samey was there. And no, she can't be a villain, she would be terrible at being one.
79. Dawn- She's...not really good. She hardly does anything, besides getting ratted out by Scott. She is just another catapult fodder to be honest. She DOES seem like she'd be ok, if she did more.
78. Topher- Bland, just so bland. Topher is like Sierra, without the crazy. All he does is obsess over Chris, which lasts for way too long and gets booted right before the merge. How? I don't know, tbh, his plot could've ended in the episode it started.
77. Mickey- Doesn't sound 16. Also how the HELL did he manage to pick up a coffin with ease.
76. Jay- Eh...
75. Justin- Justin is a very weird character. He never spoke in TDI all that much, then suddenly he's a villain. I don't know WHO made that decision, but whatever. Honestly, he's not a good villain, Alejandro does it sooooo much better and besides which they DUMP him near the beginning of the merge anyway.
74. Staci- Did you know then that Staci invented wasted annoying first boots that honestly could've made decent characters? Ya, before her all of the first boots were bland and had no potential at all. Ahem...
73. Beardo- Uhh...
72. Samey- Nice...that's all her personality is really. I think, if they had dragged on her and Amy's plot for even just one more episode, it would've felt less rushed. Although, I don't get why she only interacted with Jasmine. If she tried befriending the other competitors, I'm certain they would've been friendly. Well, maybe not Topher, but still.71. Tammy- She hardly talked. That's all.
70. Gerry- Second boot, and was funny.
69. Pete- Slightly funnier.
68. Stephanie- She kind of got annoying when she and Ryan were arguing. I honestly could not stand her personality during that arc. While I did not mind the ending, I wished they did it sooner.
67. Devin- He was either droning on about Shelly or Carrie, or he was...ok?? I mean, Devin never had much substance, I'm just glad he wasn't a complete unlikable character. He was never creepy when he fell for Carrie and he honestly was an ok character. Just ok...
66. Mary- Who?
65. Ellody- Sounds like Courtney, to the point I'm not even sure if Barlow actually tried making her voice sound different. Which is understandable I suppose, I mean, Ellody's outright forgettable.
64. Ryan- Meh...
63. Cody- Got ruined in WT I think. I was never a big fan of Cody to begin with, and I certainly do not have any strong feelings towards him. Cody's kind of funny sometimes, but I felt his attitude towards Gwen was mostly creepy especially in WT.
62. Lightning- Stereotypical dumb jock, who kind of became evil, only to become dumber and get booted second? I honestly would've liked to see Jo and him team up in AS and be minor villains, but ok...
61. Jo- She's...decent I guess? She wasn't what I'd call, AMAZING or anything, she certainly delivered good lines when she could. However, I think she lasted her run tbh, you can only do mean jock girl soooo many times.
60. Dakota- Would be higher if she showed much personality before becoming mutant. I do think it's odd how she didn't really seem to like Sam much at all, then suddenly, she's in love with him...
59. Lorenzo- None of the stepbrothers are really different from eachother.
58. Chet- Lorenzo, but wore a coconut bra once...hooray?
57. Blaineley- She's blainerific, but her amount of screentime is NOT!
56. Carrie- An innocent, inoffensive character. She wasn't really creepy to Devin, but she certainly was uh...very attracted to him. She was more entertaining though, and I felt like she did more than Devin. For one, she actually interacted with other contestants and kind of formed a weird friendship with Ryan. Which is why she's higher than Devin, since her interactions weren't totally limited, like some of the other character's could be. She's ok, but not Emmy-worthy.
55. Dwayne- Made a dumb joke once...I guess? I haven't watched RR since 2015, but I do think Dwayne was an ok character, he lasted his run, and that's good.
54. Junior- He's not a bad child character? If he was outright rude to his father without much reason, this would be different. But, he's just a straight man to his father's goofy antics.
53. Owen- Eh...
52. Anne Maria- Did slightly more than I thought she would've...Funny, didn't do much, but funny certainly.
51. Sky- An alright character. Finale ruined her, but the finale wasn't the best I suppose. She wasn't totally terrible, but she didn't have much personality.
50. Sam- Um, no. I forget he's in AS sometimes, I'm serious.
49. Spud- He's alright...
48. Dave- He's certainly not an amazing character by any means, but he does have a plot. I prefer his persona to what people wish it was. If he was a Noah clone, no one would like him, but now, nobody likes him...That's actually kinda sad.
47. Miles- She's cool.
46. Trent- 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999
45. Laurie- Very funny in her last two episodes. I like how she suddenly decided that she liked meat at one point.
44. Sadie- Why did they not let her speak until the episode of her elimination?
43. Katie- EEEEEEEEE
42. Don- Much funnier than Chris lately.
41. Brody- Geoff, but sugar-free.
40. Brick- He's a decent character.
39. DJ- So, give the most normal guy in the cast an animal curse. Also, make him reaaaallly annoying and whiny. That's WT DJ in a nutshell, but in other seasons he was ok. He was much better in Action, when he decided to stand up to Chef and the like.
38. Bridgette- She was so much better in Island. She was nice yes, but she was also much more, determined I guess? Not to say she isn't in later seasons, she's good in Aftermaths, but when you are much more important and great as a character in a sidestory than the actual meat, it's kind of...meh? I guess I'm a little disappointed she hasn't really done much at all since WT. Aftermaths aren't even things anymore, which is sad.
37. Beth- Not good in Island. Much better in Action, though I would've rather wanted Lindsay in the finale.
36. Scott- He's cute in All Stars, the only character they actually did BETTER to be honest. I do think Jo would've made a better villain, but he was an ok one I guess.
35. Eva- She's funny, was an early boot, and deserves to return. Although, I'm certain all of us would be sick of her by the time she won. Certainly a good character in the Aftermaths, much more pleasant actually.
34. Izzy- Better in Island. She's pretty funny there and I thought she wasn't a bad character. Although, in Action and WT, she kinda went off the rails.
33. Ella- Sweet, cute, not a whole lot to say really. I'm glad she wasn't a spoiled brat princess. Though, she certainly lasted for a while.
32. Rock- He REALLY got better as the season ran. Like, he REALLY got better. Everyone disliked him and his team member originally, but like, around the third week or so, he REALLLLLY got better.
31. Duncan- He's decent and alright. Somehow became a finalist in Action despite being on the bottom 3 times in a row, was kind of a jerk in WT, and his thing in AS was annoying...
30. Sierra- What Topher should've been...well, ok, without the creepy Cody crush I suppose.
29. Alejandro- A very good villain, you always wondered what he was going to do next. One decision I don't like is his voice change, it's really high pitched and annoying.
28. Noah- Was actually funny in WT. I don't think he was that good in Island, Noah never really spoke and when he did, I dunno, he always sounded condescending. Which, he is a snarker, but still, it's no surprise he was out third. In WT, he was really funny and actually delivered some good lines. None of which I can remember right now, but I am certain he did. Alas, he was booted shockingly in a vote I'd rather wish had gone differently. Alejandro should've booted Owen instead, since Owen is his closest ally, will leave Noah defenseless. It would've been neat to see Noah try to go up against Al in the later part of the season, especially since it seems that Heather was working more WITH him than against him. Also, we don't talk about RR.
27. Courtney- I like Courtney. She's greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaat. They can bring her back, not sure if they should though.
26. Harold- Should've won Action, if not Lindsay, then him, definitely.
25. Max- He's so EEEEEVVVVVIILLLLLL that he will do horrible things like: cuddle babies *gasp*! Insult people behind their backs *gasps harder*! And even...sometimes be polite to people "OH NOOOOOOO!" Max is funny, but one note. He's certainly not someone I'd want to win, but occasionally enjoy? Sure.
24. Leonard- He's here for the lols.
23. Shawn- A very good zombie paranoid freak. Learns not to be a selfish jerk to his girlfriend and actually MAKES some friends.
22. Jasmine- She's great mate.
21. Chef- So, you have a funny chef character who obviously is crazy. What do you do with him? Make him much more likable than the host. And then when people start liking him more, dwindle his appearances. Which is good, because then, we enjoy Chef more in the instances we DO get to see his character.
20. Kelly- If Regina George was to compete on RR with her mom. this would be them. Although I'm not certain if Regina would be quite that bratty...
19. Taylor- She's bratty, but she learns to respect her mom, which is awesome.
18. Tyler- Funny, dorky, and a good boyfriend even when Lindsay forgets his name. In TDI, Tyler is not that good, sure he had his quirks. And yes, he did try in the challenges, but Tyler seems to lack some of the flair he has in WT, which drags him down. He's way funnier there, and actually has a personality besides "clumsy jock". I would like if he returned, even if it's just for nostalgia.
17. Scarlett- Awesome, just, awesome.
16. Sugar- Also here for the lols.
15. Tom- Fez...
14. Sanders- Not nearly as fun as her partner.
13. MacArthur- She's pretty good, I liked especially her rivalry with Josee. And, uh...yeah.
12. Gwen- She's a goth, except no, she acts more like a prep now...Can they just decide?
11. Jen- She's cute, pretty funny. I liked her more than Tom, she had more one liners.
10. Ennui- He's very interesting.
9. Emma- I'm biased towards the Sisters...but, Emma is the one I would be less likely to defend if you criticized her. Why? Because I felt she did have some flaws, for one she was wayyyy too obsessed with Noah, to the point Kitty and Owen just kinda fade to the background. Although, she did become a better character. Towards the end, she focuses less on Noah and more on the game, she is also much nicer to Kitty, to the point where she even praises her when they're eliminated. I like Emma, but I do think she is flawed.
8. Crimson- She's greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
7. Geoff- Geoff's only real bad season was RR imo. There, he was like his Island self, but he was less entertaining than even that. I felt like I was watching a caricaturized version of the character the whole time. I do enjoy his Aftermath segments and loved him getting his revenge on Blaineley. I adore his relationship with Bridgette as well. In fact, I think Gidgette is one of the best developed couples in the franchise.
6. Leshawna- SHOULD'VE WON TDI!!!! She was robbed, too robbed. I think she's alright in Action...um, no comment on WT Leshawna. I think WT Leshawna is bad.
5. Jacques- He's fabulous!
4. Josee- If Heather didn't exist she would be the best villain, she's just THAT good. I liked how she and Jacques were kind of neutral in the first few episodes, and then later they just became...amazing. I loved her hammy personality, and she honestly stole the show.
3. Heather- AS is the only season she's bad in...She's great in every other season. And I mean really good. So good it's almost insane.
2. Kitty- Here's 3 reasons why I love Kitty so much:
1. I rped her a lot back around RR's airing in 2015. I played her soooo much that I felt like I got attached to her character. I'm dead serious, I actually felt like I liked her more and more the more times I rped her own character.
2. She reminds me of Lindsay, to the point I can't help but wonder if they originally wanted Lindsay on this season. Besides the ditziness, Kitty's a goofy teen, but she's not outright DITZY or anything.
3. I really liked her more later on in the season. In the early eps, Kitty is fab, but like she's more cute than anything. But later on, she does more I feel. She supports Carrie in her feelings for Devin, she's a lot funnier, and she shows some sort of cleverness and wit to her character. She's very pleasant, and is never truly unlikable. Sure, she DOES take a backseat when Nemma becomes major. But, she seemed quick to try to bring Emma back to reality in some of her most head-in-the-cloud moments.
Although one thing I don't get is...if she wanted to meet boys, why wasn't SHE the one to fall for Noah? Why couldn't we have Nitty instead?
1. Lindsay!- Lindsay is the most amazing character in TD for many reasons. She's an airhead, but never to the point where it got unbearable. She had her moments, such as when she stood up to Heather or when she tried to take charge in Action. She was a real star in Action, a fact many people after Action's airing didn't seem to realize. She had a real conflict with Courtney, one I would've gladly followed if she was a finalist. While Beth was cute, she lacked something, something that Lindsay had. And that was friendliness. While Beth is friendly with several of her competitors, she was also not very nice to them at many points. Lindsay was genuinely friendly, she was dumb, but lovable. While Beth stands up to Heather only to fall later, Lindsay stands up to Heather and owns it. She fricking slayed Heather and it is written right over her face while Lindsay is calling her out. Sure, she may not be as good in WT or even in AS. But, Lindsay was an AS for a reason, and that is because of her first two seasons where she slayed, where she rocked. Anyway, thank you for listening to me rant!
