One of the greatest natural disasters in the world occurred after a 9.0 earthquake in the Indian Ocean. Entire populations were washed away and their cities, towns and villages obliterated. My next collection of photographs will try to encompass what I saw when I went there May 28-29.

This was at the same relocation camp as Cerita Tsunami . I talked to this girl's aunt and she told me that the trauma these kids are going through is mind-blowing. Yet when my teacher and I arrived at the camp, these children seemed like the happiest kids in the world. It just warmed my heart being there among them and playing with them. No matter what happened to her in the past, at that time, this girl was the happiest girl in the world. Bless her heart.
