i really love these bizarre creatures... they have me thinking of these bizarre shadow creatures that melt off the wall like goop in this movie "howls moving castle" - they are very ominous and look inescapable. I think you put superb detail into the character and the monsters, but one thing i didn't like so much was the trash bin and box and such because even though they work great as part of the composition, they are distracting because its obvious that you didn't put as much of your attention towards them as the main subject... I understand why you did it - because you don't want to steal the attention your audience gives away from the main subject... but there are other ways to draw the audience in, for instance sharpening up the highlights in the monster, the needle, and the drug abuser.
Also... I'm glad that you are making an anti drug statement.... as someone who has done them in the past - i think that it has damaged a bit of my artistic spirit. I felt more creative while using them, but I lost a lot of my exuberance and energy in the process. I am more obsessed and less meticulous as a result I think. Plus they are bad for your health (man, I gotto quit smoking too... lol (I can't run 100 meters without feeling like my chest will explode).

I like the concept a lot. Are the monsters shadows or liquidy goop things?

Haven't seen that one, but heard about it (it's the one with fearies and the rainforest, right?). Any good?

Yes! One of the better animated movies out there. Tim Curry voices the villain. He's the oil running the machines cutting down the forest.

I love the way the shadows drip rather than smoke, it seems more physical than fake, very nice concept!
I also like the idea of being trapped in a corner, it works well

Do like the idea of this one, the shadow ooozing across the wall worked out really well too.

It is, isn't it. I really am a perky and optimistic guy. I guess i allow my other side out in my art. Have a great morning.

Thanks!
I'm a bit sorry now that I did not keep them consistent (different drop sizes, especially the large "boogers" in the top left).
I might touch it up digitally if I get the chance.
