BACKGROUND

Trapped for around 3,500 years in the accursed Vase of Ethermangs, Prince Duqat is finally free to take his vengeance upon the whole world. He is a forgotten bastard child of Agag, the King of Amalek - the very one that was executed by Samuel in 1 Samuel 15:33. He attacked Queen Qilanta's "Q Base" back in the ancient kingdom of Sheba, in what is known today as Ethiopia. Along with him were his 19 servants along with two different tribes of Canaanite origin. Tinshpuut the Confident fought valiantly, until he was corrupted by the lure of power and defied orders by trying to wield the Ape Transmogrin.

It exploded, turning him into a giant gorilla monster that all the others had to fight. The explosion put a slow-acting transmogrification spell on everyone present, turning them into some form of primate. Duqhat and his 19 servants became siamangs capable of becoming a sort of "ether"-like substance, and creating various toxic or nauseating fumes. They thus became known as the "Ethermangs." Their spiritual harmony with demons combined with their new powers as Ethermangs made their inner darkness manifest, and they became a scourge of pure evil.

The other tribes turned one into orangutans with fire-themed powers, and the other into ice-themed chimpanzees that had to eventually migrate to the North Pole to survive. The Orangutans of Fire became known as merely the "Pyrangutans," and suffered from low fertility. Their kind remained in hiding in South America for thousands of years. The ice-themed chimpanzees became the Ice Chimps, who invented jet packs and cryonic suits in 1900 and improved their technologies as human technology afforded them the opportunity. Before long, the Ice Chimps grew numerous and posed a threat to humanity.

The Qilantan faithful, however, were transmogrinned into highly-intelligent military societies of gorillas, all of which centered around a central leader. That central leader was usually a queen. There were few generals in the Qilantan civilization's armies, but each major division got at least one colonel to lead them. Colonels were often appointed directly by however was currently the queen, making it necessary to be promoted by a queen for a colonel to be properly recognized in his promotion.

Due to how increasingly dangerous Duqat and the Ethermangs became, they were eventually trapped in the magical "Vase of Ethermangs." This vase was later given by the Queen of Sheba to King Solomon, who hid the vase in a tomb built beneath the foundation of what became Solomon's Temple. Other than Solomon, the tomb builders, the Queen of Sheba, and the current Qilantan Society Queen and her selected generals and colonels, nobody else was allowed to know about the Ethermangs.

This system worked well until Muhammad came along. He managed to learn the secret of the Ethermangs. However, he was talked out of recruiting them when he learned how impossible to control Duqat was. He also had heard word that Duqat would find out that Jesus was born successfully, and would want revenge on the whole world for not stopping that from happening. Therefore, Muhammad instead ordered a mosque to be built on top of the Tomb of the Ethermangs. Eventually, that mosque was built: the Dome of the Rock.

Beneath the Golden Dome, pure evil eagerly awaited a time for its release. Then, that time came. Col. Veyour of the Diamond Division of Gorillas defected to the Ice Chimps' side due to his pride and his faithless heart. In his arrogance, he broke into the tomb with some chimps and freed the Ethermangs. He believed he could control Duqat and the Ethermangs. He was swiftly proven wrong.

All of the Middle East was soon thrown into turmoil, as Gorilla divisions from all across the world rallied to Jerusalem to help Israeli and Palestinian alike deal with the ancient evil that sought revenge on all of them!
