Perhaps most enigmatic of the women that Mingmei found herself with inside SWCC, was none other than Stephanie Tannuli. The heiress to Lambrelli Labs, Stephanie was pregnant, and also recently married. But she sometimes entered altered states of consciousness, a condition brought on by a brain injury she sustained while operating a Strawberry Pilltar droid during an EMP attack many years ago.

Alas, as Steph's condition worsened, the internment camp took pity on her. In spite the corrupt Congress with its objections to showing favor to the Sodality, SCALLOP Women's Containment Center transferred Steph to the Gum Arabic Mental Hospital for long-term care.

Realizing her days as Strawberry were over, Stephanie made the autonomous droids Pillcenary and Strawcenary to go to Phaeleel, so her new husband didn't have to operate a Pilltar droid and go to an alien world. He could stay behind, to look after her and their new son.
