I bought an annual pass to Odense Zoo, which is like 10minutes from my apartment on bike. My parents came to visit and my dad had brought his two cameras that he wanted to try out. We decided then to go to the zoo to take pictures of the animals, which is much more interesting than just plants in the park, and they ended up buying an annual pass as well.

We spent 2 days in the zoo and took a bunch of photos. Some of them were for me to use as pose references, but some of them was us trying to take pictures that actually were really good. Some of them were just funny captures.

This is Congo, the zoo male lion. He's still very young, and has only been part of the pride for about ~6 months - it took a long time for the lionesses to accept him too, which is why he has several battle scars. He's not old enough to take a stand against them and show who's boss yet.

I just love this photo, he looks quite majestic.
