Hello!! I just wanted to make the mane 6 + sunset as princesses,and ended up creating an Au about it qvq i'm WeAk Btw this is a base edit!! It was so much fun!! I was kind of afraid that some of you would get mad at me for using bases qvq idk I don't have all the ships for this one qvq just Sunsetx Twi and PinkiexSkystar, so feel free to suggest one!!Basically in this AU to defeat Tirek, Cozy and Chrysalis Celestia and Luna give up all of their magic and their physical form to make all the mane 6 ascend to alicorns. With the two sisters gone Twilight gets the role of Luna while Sunset gets the role of Celestia.
Twilight: Queen of Equestria, ruler of the night and element of magic.
Sunset: Co-Queen of Equestria, ruler of the day and "element" of empathy.
Applejack: Princess of abundance, element of honesty.
Fluttershy: Princess of nature , element of kindness.
Rarity: Princess of inspiration, element of generosity.
Pinkie: Princess of happiness (party queen), element of laughter.
Rainbow: Princess of storms, element of loyalty.

...Okay, a bit more detail behind my judgment. I'm glad this AU means Twilight won't have to rule by her lonesome. Also, it means she never has to risk outliving her closest friends, and they'll weather the years as they always have. It seems more fitting, since the Mane Six would all rule Equestria together anyway (as far as I know). Having Sunset along, too, only adds to the piece's enjoyability.
Like most, this Alternate Universe has potential. I sincerely hope it goes well.
Fun Fact: I have several headcanons of my own about other ponies ascending alongside Twilight. Sunset, Starlight, and even Trixie of all ponies! (My god, sometimes I wonder if parts of my brainstem were gnawed on by teething baby leprechauns!)

Fluttershy and AJ could be a couple; they look really nice together.
I can't say I know about the other ones ship-wise.
The idea of Luna and Celestia giving themselves up for the greater good is really fascinating - especially with the end result. Sunset and Twilight really do look like sun and moon goddesses. I personally really adore the underside of Twi's mane. Nevermind everyone else's hair combos - especially AJ and Pinkie's.

There's no issue using bases, esp when you can't get the a pose/ anatomy right, the matter is what you do over that first hurdle and you've put a lot of effort in and really made the work your own, so great job, it all looks so bright and pretty.
