It's intentional. ^_^ It was purposely drawn to look like Usagi's dress, I don't remember the exact reasons why off hand. Too tired to look it up. XD

According to the wikipedia, Fionna's dress was in fact inspired by Sailor Moon's dress.

Great picture! is that felt? I find it hard to produce quality with that particular medium. Awesome job!

I know, Natasha Allegri said so herself. The whole episode is inspired by Sailor Moon.

And I used Prismacolor Markers~ All my traditional is Prismacolor Markers now. Use to use colored pencils but it's been a looong time since I used those, haha!

Nah, not Penn. It's the artist for the series, Natasha Allegriβ€” the whole Fionna and Cake was heavily influenced by Sailor Moon.
