What a delightfully deep colour in the centre! The way the bowl pattern comes to the surface is very admirably done.

Was this painting from "life"? The bits along the edge and the shapes and colours make me think so.

Thank you for your admiration , i figured only you would appreciate my soup series. Both were painted using a photo reference, unfortunately i'm still a cook-in-training, so I can't take any credit there, but someday... in my next life i want to be a pastry chef i think; making mini masterpieces for people to gobble up, how fun!
