Description Though I tend to draw Candy as a child (as in "Pancakes" bunnyjoyce.deviantart.com/art/… ) I don't really believe in the "trains as children" idea. Pearl is "a brand new girl" after all, so Candy would have likely come out of the factory in the form of a teenager. However, a dining car and a caboose teaching their sixteen-year-old daughter to flip pancakes would not have looked as cute, so Candy is a kid in some situations.

It's kinda like a candy wrapper, though my original intent was for it to be a simple curtain with a bit of lace. (Dinah's idea was to make her little girl look nice.) Now, it's probably just her exterior metal.

I work something out.^^

I already have way too many details on Candy. I am going to die when drawing the lineart for this...O-O

And she is just a coach and with a pretty slick design. Just imagine Thunder. I am most afraid of Starla with her skirt. I am going to go nuts in creativity and then die horribly...XD

Mrrrrau, I really love her colours! Her pose is well drawn, too!

Oh, thank-you! You're very kind to comment. I'm pleased when a great colorist like you says my colors are good. (I was a bit concerned that there was too much purple, so I'm glad you think it's nice.) Thanks for mentioning her pose as well. It's a combination of both Dinah's and CB's signature tick-overs.

Thank-you again for your nice comment.

God bless.

Candy's design looks great. But I think the trains have an age stage like they do not have real ages like 1 years old, 2 years old. I mean by they have a baby stage, a kid stage, a teen stage (they age very slowly during this process), an adult stage, then a senior stage. Again, I really love her design she does look like a train that can serve snacks.

Thank-you so much! You've paid me a high compliment by saying that she looks like she can sell snacks. (In fact, she's supposed to have menu on her torso in pink letters, though that did not make it into this picture.)

Anything is possible considering that they are toys inside a child's dream, but I'm so used to thinking of them as real rolling stock that I have to remember that fact. I tend to think that physically they start out as teenagers, but mentally they start out as children. They obviously do age as Poppa has gray hair, but it would probably be a slow process. Ashley is probably decades older than Pearl, but she only looks a little older.

Thanks again.

God bless.
