Description
This is a variation on Carmen Watkins' pattern found in the book Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker I discovered after I'd bought the yarn that I couldn't figure out the directions to make the squares, so I did lots of searching and found a square I could make that looked pretty, too. It's not perfect, as you can see, some of the solid color squares are a little big, but I think it was a good learning experience and good practice for future afghans. Unfortunately I have no one to give this to now - it was intended to be a gift for a couple that's friends with my now-ex fiancé. But oh well. I'll probably find a baby to give it to someday.
