Very nice!
The lines are drawn perfectly, as in some of your other pictures.
Cheers!

what camera do u use?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

bupo In reply to trajcov [2005-09-07 21:44:36 +0000 UTC]

I used a EOS 20D with a 10-22 at 17mm

trajcov In reply to bupo [2005-09-08 07:28:56 +0000 UTC]

20D? its a good one, but im still considering the Nikon D100. my friend has a 20D, he voted for that one, but since its my first dig SLR, i wanna make the right decision.

what do you think?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

bupo In reply to trajcov [2005-09-08 07:57:31 +0000 UTC]

Well , I've nothing against Nikon, my before camera was a Coolpix 8800 and I still think is one of the best P&S

I choose 20D essentially for some features I wanted, instantaneous power up, 3200 ISO and expecially 5 frame per seconds

Difference between 20D and D100 are essentially

8 Megapixel vs 6 Megapixel
100-3200 ISO vs 200-1600
1/8000 sec vs 1/4000 sec
5fps for 23 jpeg vs 3fps for 6 jpeg
Orientation sensor vs no orientation sensor
@1300$ vs @900$

They are both nice camera

you are right. canon makes bigger steps ahead. i talked to a photographer this morning, he told me that even D50 is better than D100. but the D70s is the best, he said. well according to the fact how much money i wanna spend. im just used to a Nikon, i have F80D so i dont wanna buy new lens etc..

but i love the focus point joystick button on the 20D..and the focusing is precise and fast.... my nikon is not that fast...

take care,
G

Excellent shot. The B+W fits really well and the tones and contrast are cool. Well taken, Bupo.

i lvoe the texture. perfect example of a shot that SHOULD be in black and white.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

bupo In reply to Abinadi [2005-09-07 21:46:08 +0000 UTC]

Thx I use often b/w instead of colour when colour is not the predominant meaning

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Abinadi In reply to bupo [2005-09-07 21:57:41 +0000 UTC]

black and white forces you to look at form instead. i agree.

refemall [2005-09-07 20:08:58 +0000 UTC]

I like this. Very interesting. And the lines draw the eye perfectly.

Just one thing, the lines seem to interfere with the signature. Is there anywhere else you could put it?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

bupo In reply to refemall [2005-09-07 20:17:16 +0000 UTC]

I put it there cause seems to be quite not disturbing. I can try putting somewhere else as soon as i can

You're right, it's not as disturing there. It just seems a little hard to read because of the cracks in the stones.
