this countdown... is so emotionally draining. i re-read chapter thirty-seven, The Lost Prophecy, from the fifth book to make sure i would get this scene right and mannnn, WHAT an amazing chapter... so. so. so. so heart wrenching.

This scene always makes me emotional for reasons unknown. Maybe because Dumbledore showed how he cared so much for Harry or because Harry began breaking so many things out of rage yet Dumbledore let him. I'm not too sure, but Dumbledore obviously loves Harry like a son

I freaking hated Dumbledore when I read this scene. In my opinion he could NOT have handled Harry's grief in a more inconsiderate way.

I love how you still draw with paper and pencil. So many artists have switched to digital. I mean its still really good, but there is just something about traditional work that is so magical. I love how you draw people. I can only wish I could draw this well.

Dumbledore's wearing the Ravenclaw and Slytherin colors! I just noticed because I've been thinking lately how Dumbledore would make a far, far better "good Slytherin" than Slughorn (I was going to try to corrupt Slughorn's name into something insulting, Slumhorn or whatever, but really, "SLUGHORN" is insult enough on its own). His main temptation was Slytherin - grabbing power and manipulating people 'for the greater good'. It's awesome how he held himself in in that area, making himself believe the best of people when even people WITHOUT Slytherin temperaments would suspect things. He's such a hero.

yeah i always thought it was weird that James became a Head Boy despite being described as a major prankster and troublemaker. Dumbledore was probably obsessed with love/hate relationships and the what is created from them (Harry as an example) i guess.

I love how much emotion is conveyed here. Even the lighting and the coloring has that sad kind of hushed feeling. It's the expressions and the eyes that caught my breath, though.

I just wanted to say I love they way you draw All of the Harry Potter Characters! They are the closest Rendition I have ever seen to what I see in my head when I read the Books, ( and are Beautifully done!) Not only do they look like them but you really get their personalities to come out in your drawings! Wonderful
