i must be on a realism kick.
BUT SERIOUSLY NOW, i just watched this movie and dear lord, that little boy can act. anytime he cried or teared up, i would actually say out loud, "awww, poor baby! don't cryyyy!" you should know i watched it alone. haha but really, i wanted to cry whenever he was sad.
what a great film. my hat is off to you, Mr. Scorsese.

I love this movie. When I first watched it, it was with my family, but they got up and began doing other things halfway through so I was the only one watching it XD!!! I watched it all the way through with wide eyes, though, sincei t was so amazing. Can't wait to watch it for the sixth time by myself... haha.

I watched the last forty minutes of the movie in my classroom with the rest of my grade (I missed the beginning because I got picked up early the day before, curse it) and the kid next to me kept saying things along the lines of
Oh shanp!
Ahhhh, the b is back
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
That kid is smart, dang!
And more. Some was colorful tbh (when the teachers weren't listening).
I loved the book so much better! If you see this comment if you ever come back to dA again Burdge - read the book ASAP.

Thats exactly how I felt when I saw Hugo's actor at times when he cried, even if I didnt understand it the first time I watched the film. Like at the part where the notebook got burned.
Since you read Harry Potter and books, you probably plan on seeing Enders Game if not read it. Its a really great series ^^
