i had to split this page of Junk of the Heart into two pieces... it was too big for my scanner. blegh.i will use smaller paper from now on.
also, this page was supposed to be up in JANUARY. too many reasons to go into for why it's belated, but i'm gonna try to update more regularly. c:

Some really great work on this page. The pacing and flow are very good, and keep things moving along effortlessly.
My favorite two panels here are the third panel, where Gabriel and Prosper are facing each other, and then the next panel, with the closeups of the two of them.
I like the one with the two of them facing each other, kinda half-hugging and really starting to catch up with each other. Their interaction feels so natural and comfortable -- you do a great job of showing how close of friends they are. In that one panel alone, you so clearly communicate what kind of friendship they have.
The next panel is really well composed. We focus on Prosper as he's trying to sort out the situation: he's looking off to the side, looking for Blaire. I like how that's communicated as clearly through the art as it is through the dialogue itself.
Your storytelling skills shine through each panel and the page (or rather, half page) really well. : )

she won't say!!!!!! in her Clare's basic story line Blaire's always trying to get prosper to say but he usually says 'do this and i'll tell you' and she always fails at what he wants her to do...yeah its a funny story.

You have a real gift for making this look effortless. Everything is so clear and still sketchy somehow. The dialogue reads naturally, which is important in comic book panels, and the expressions and lines are extremely well placed. I love it, and I don't even read those books.

I love these guys! Your characters are so well defined and the angles you draw in the panels are brilliant. So professional!! It always inspires me to do some drawing and this time my uni project is FINALLY 'draw and write a short comic book' so I might reference you and some of your work if you don't mind.

Ha British people do say that too, trust me, my dad says it ALL the time. + Burdge is American & probably goes for the most stereotypical words, she doesn't always get them quite right. I was impressed enough that she remembered to have Prosper say 'mum' instead of 'mom'
But she has stated he is British at some point, I'm not just assuming
