Okay like the sword I think it's more of a Roman Gladius or a Pompeii Gladius I think Riptide is either a Pompeii Gladius or Roman Gladius I still like the look of the sword though

I didn't really hate the movie, I hated the movie as a book-based movie. But as a movie on its own - not thinking about the books - it was pretty good. Besides I adore Logan Lerman.
Yep, they screwed the storyline up. But I think the movie on its own is great. :]

Wow. Taking the Guinea Pig scene out of it will (once again) set them up for disaster in the later storyline. The existence of Reyna's character in the later series is dependent on that scene. If they are planning to continue into the later series they will have ruined the whole chunk that establishes Reyna recognizing Percy in the future.

At least Rick Rordan had nothing to do with it. I was on one of his websites and he explained how when an author sells their book to a movie company they, majourity of the time, sell everything and have no say in the matter of what the movie is like except suggestions and stuff. It's their's now. [link]
