i had my Pandora station up while i was sketching, don't remember if it was my John Powell station or my James Newton Howard one... but anyway, Cast Away's theme came on, complete with waves sounds. you can imagine why this drawing came about then.

I really like your work in general, but this one I like in particular. The sensitive way you handle poses and figures is reminiscent of Trina Schart Hyman, one of my very favorite children's book illustrators. Keep up the good work!
