I stand in the darkness holding back. I stand back and hear it all. I can't do nothing to end it all. Why can't I make my body move? All the sorrow, all the pain, all the misery, all the screams, and all the hurt. All I can do is stand back holding my instrument of destruction in my hands. My blade is dull from only fighting air. My heart is tore from the feeling of losing it all. I fall to my knees from being overwhelmed with anger and suffering. All the voices in my head from my past telling me "your nothing, your will not make nothing out of yourself, you will fail like you always do, give up now before you disappoint us and show that you can not make it." Make them stop! I will not be brought down with only words. But the blood on my hands is from trying to build it all and only falling down or back. The sweat and blood and tears I have shed to make this world mine is all for not. I can not move out of the dark to protect those who scream and cry for help. I do not have the strength to lift this blade to protect anyone. All the screams in my mind and my heart please let me help them or make them stop please god help me through this pain. I need all the strength and faith to make it another day. To me in the darkness is when I can see clearly. I'm lost in the woods but i can see my path as clear as a moon lit night. I stand to only be knocked back down so should i even try to get back up. I gather all the hatred in me so I can stand again. The darkness and the blade that I must carry to protect those around me is all I have now. I will stand and fight but the battle may already be lost. What can I do? I want to fight till my last breath passes. Till the very last drop of blood leaves my body. To bad the fight is within my self.
