I have a deep love of crabs, and at times, fungus/mushrooms. So after watching one of my childhood fav. movies, a Japanese zombie movie called Matango, or Attack of the Mushroom People, I wondered if there could be any animal life on the island that would have adapted to the ever spreading fungus, and this little guy was born.Related content

Wow...very neat! I think I vaguely remember that movie but definitely an interesting idea for a picture. I'm fond of crabs myself (I did my Masters research on crab claw strength) and your crustacean here is nicely drawn. Great job with the colors and all the detail.

Since more than one person asked, he was colored with Prisma color markers. I use them for all my work. I am to lazy to figure out Photoshop.

I love how he's a triangle, and then there's a very subtle triangle with the reds of the mushrooms. Is he drooling? ^.^

This is cool, the lineart is nice and crisp, and I love the little spore clouds. It kinda reminds me or Parasect from Pokemon, but like 9 times cooler.
