PERSPECTIVE FAILURE.Are there rulers in PS? There probably are, but I'm just too lazy to go and find out.
(Also. World's smallest television. Just pretend it's really old. I'll fix it later if it starts to bother me. But right now it's whatevrr.)

I think our skills are similar when it comes to PS, the only difference is you can actually make a nice piece of art out of it, and they all look as if you ' planned it that way' xD

and there is some sort of ruler function in PS.
if you hold shift while drawing, you can draw a horizontal or vertical line. for diagonal lines just tab where you want your line to start and then tab where you want it to end while holding shift 8DDD

Oh, no way! I didn't know that! I was drawing all of my lines manually, and using the line tool occasionally haha. And, as you may know, nothing turns out quite right when you do that. I'll be sure to take advantage of this new found digital knowledge!!

You deserve 20,000 more views. You deserve 80,000 more views. Frankly, I can't believe the crazy crap on this site that gets popular, and your pretty drawings (like this one right here, for example) are only at 20,000 hits. I feel slightly affronted on your behalf. (I bet you're way less affronted than I, though.)
I hope you're not too dissatisfied with the perspective here. It totally works. I am not trying to convince you that it's perfect, but I think it fits the tone of the drawing -- mouths agape, tentative grasps, that sort of thing. But basically, a Burnawayy picture doesn't disguise itself in details -- the main event is right there for you up front and center. You make these 8-year-old cartoon characters feel like real people. Just the way Stan's hoodie is open makes him look like a real guy. I'm not reaching -- it's got just the perfect amount of slack and the placement is dead-on. (I love that he's wearing a Visitor shirt, too.)
The way Kyle's got his calf hooked around Stan's thigh looks really good, too -- see, I can believe that these guys would hang out like this. (Who knows what they're discussing -- future haircuts? Kyle's premature ejaculation has gotten out of hand? Someone's been spending too much time at the boob poster store?) You just compose the greatest little tableaux. They look like they're talking to each other! Do you know how many pictures of Stan and Kyle I've seen where that's not the case?
I am so happy you're still here. I have been watching your improvement over the past year (or more) and I am crazy impressed. And it's not like you started out shitty -- your stuff was impressing me even when I got into the fandom. I'm so, so fucking glad you're here. You have no idea. And I cannot wait to see your stuff a year from now. I am sure it will be even more amazing.

Views aren't something that are necessarily important to me. Actually, I think it's alarming how so many people get caught up in popularity and views and all of that. So, there isn't any need to feel affronted for me. Though, I am flattered. You are being way too nice to me, and I really, really appreciate that you took the time to leave me such a lengthy comment.
I am, and at the same time, I'm not. Perfection was not something I was aiming for with this, and I kinda like that the perspective is awkward, but I can still kind of get away with it. Or not. If you like it though, I'm happy enough.

This is what they always do when they hang out. And they think they can get away with it, because of the boobs all about the room. Someone needs to tell them that is doesn't work like that. Where is your other hand going, Stan? Not towards the boob posters, that's for sure.
The premature ejaculation is a personal issue Kyle has yet to conquer. Stan looks upset though. Hopefully they can learn to climax together, rather than five minutes apart. And then, when that's resolved, Stan will let Kyle cut his hair as a reward for being able to control himself in bed. Or wherever they're doing it at the time.
I'm so glad you like this, and that you were able to get so much out of it. You seem to know more about my art than I do, which I think is relieving, because it makes me feel like I'm doing something right. And believe me, I never feel like I'm doing anything right.

It's remarkable that views aren't important to you, because that's kind of the driving force behind this site. I am actually not saying that they should be -- seriously, you have a really healthy attitude about it. What I am saying is that there is obviously a big audience for South Park fan art, and I am not sure why you don't get the kind of traffic that some artists do. I'll go on feeling affronted on other people's behalf. You just keep on rocking.
You are getting away with it, totally. I like it -- a lot. I am sure with practice you will reach a place of perfection. Well, that and training. But I really like the way this looks. It just seems to work with the kind of feeling you put into this shit, which is something you can't bullshit. (Really.)
I should write a story where it's like a big problem that their climaxes aren't in sync. Lots of angst. Also, I assume they usually do it in the shower because the water disguises the moaning noises. Awww.
It's not that I know more about your art -- I'm, you know, studying art, so I know how to talk about it, whereas I think a lot of artists aren't as good at talking about what they make, at least in the beginning. I think that's something you will learn in art school -- how to describe what went into a piece, and how to bring the things you want out of your work through verbalization. You are the one who put the things into the picture.
I'm glad you're inspired by my writing, but I kind of don't get why. Regardless, I'm really happy with the fact that you're here and I'm here and we're all here and it's awesome. You're doing a lot right, and I hope it continues.

The South Park fandom really grew, didn't it? I feel like when I first got here it was so much smaller.
I don't get as much traffic because I'm not, in all honesty, as good as some of the other people doing fanart for the fandom. It doesn't bother me. Also, I don't draw mansex/gayness/character death as much as others. I need to learn how to whore myself a little better.
I know what I wanted to see going into the picture, which helped. I usually sit there and start drawing shit, which doesn't help at all.
I only ever plan out traditional art. Never digital. I don't know why.
I really, really want you to write that. It sounds so sexy, in a really unfortunate and awkward way.
Shower sex is so hot. I wish there were more fics with that going on in them. Well, okay, there are quite a few, but they need to be raunchier. imho.
So basically, I need to go to college. Which I'm doing, so I'm on the fast track to getting somewhere, hopefully.
I'm horrible at talking about my art. Especially when my art teacher (tried) to have critique days. Everyone would stand there and be like "Uhhhh I used acrylic", and that was pretty much it.

Hey, I don't know. People develop their art skills in all sorts of ways. Learning how to talk about art is a really important skill for an artist. Maybe your school will have a critiquing class, or something? It's seriously about whoring yourself and bullshitting well. I have artist friends who get nowhere because they can't (or won't) do one or the other.
(Acrylic is awesome.)
