Journal Entry
A Fallen Star
I have made a most profound discovery, a species of fay from beyond the stars!
A few nights ago I got word of a meteor shower which was to take place, not wanting to miss the spectacle me and a few of my faeries made our way to a nearby hillside, one which my little friends insisted would give us the best view of the event.
We made ourselves comfortable while we awaited the appointed hour. Our necks began to ache as we looked out at the night sky with anticipation, fearing that looking away for just a second could cause us to miss the event.
It was not long however until one of my faeries pointed out at the sky and began shouting
"look, look its starting"
The following spectacle was truly awe inspiring, colours of every kind streaked across the night sky, each leaving behind them a unique trail of light which they seemed to emanate. This lasted a few seconds before something very odd happened. One of the "meteorites" seemed to collide with something unseen causing it to hurtle of its paths and towards the earth not far from where we now stood.

After much searching we found the impact site, a faint glow from the crater still bathed the surrounding trees in a beautiful purple hue. I approached cautiously and what I found was both unexpected and unbelievable, for what lay inside the center of the crater was a small fay, beautiful and radiant bather in light.
As she began to awaken she noticed me and my faeries looking down at her causing panic to set in. Looking around confused and scared it took a while for me to convince her that we meant no harm and only wanted to help.
I offered her my hand and asked "what is your name".
Slowly reaching out she replied with a confused and worried tone.
"I.....do not know"

Note: With the help of a friend our new faerie member has adopted the name Zinnia, a name she has taken a great liking to.
