I use double ended dreads. So it looks like i have alot and it covers your scalp more. I also have a few shorter ones up top, to give me a layered look.
I think i have about 50 DE installed, maybe a few more.
I made this set for myself.

I think you just need the right set up for DE's.
Otherwise it can be tricky trying to work with them out keep them still

just dread wigs, but they're not very good, i'm only up to my second one. waiting on more hair, then i'll start a third

I'm still quite unsure how to make those.
i did one but that was only braiding the dreads into the wig.
i was going to try other method where you backcomb hair onto the wig or put it through the wefts.
which method works better for u?

i've tried it a few ways, my first one was making them individually, sewing them on and blending the wig hair with the rest of it, and i've done the backcomb the wig hair and wrap more hair around it. i'm still new at it but the second way works good too you just need to loop small amounts of hair through the weft if you want to have thick dreads
