I was suddenly reminded that I never put up a stand alone dev of Mogana's Keyblade.
SynthOven has the power to synthesize materials into items in a similar way that Moogles do
and was inspired by the actual Moogle oven:

Mogana collects materials and collects recipes: (Click to see)
and then turns them into defensive items and eventually, she'll be able to syth weapons!

I love her keyblade and REALLY need to update my pic to show the keychain. Gah. So much thought put into her design.

That right there? That is actually a really unique niche for a Keyblae and really fits her backstoryo f being raised by Moogles. I absolutely love it, and the teeth looking like an oven dial i just- hnnnng- it's those little touches that really enrich the entire piece!

Actually, she wasn't raised by Moogles!
Her #truebackstory is that when I designed her, she was actually going to be a Moogle!
But the group that I was going to submit her too only took human members so I turned her into a human and then
created her backstory.
She's the daughter of some Nomad shop keepers who settled in Traverse town because lots of people were coming
in from different worlds because their homes were being destroyed and what better place to sell survival wares than
the nexus that is Traverse Town! 
were starting to struggle. Around that time, a moogle was attacked by a rogue heartless and Mogana saved him,
suddenly manifesting a keyblade! The Moogle recognized how much it resembled the Synthesis Oven and gave her
her first recipe and she realized the kind of power she had and could compete with items on par with Moogles.
Hogsy (moogle) was not about to let opportunity slip though and negotiated a deal with Mogana. Every once and
a while, he's send new Moogle-made merch to her family in exchange for learning about the new synth items she's
make with her new power.
However, doing so involved getting rare and hard to find materials in other worlds. So, she would start traveling the
worlds (with her family's Star Shard that used during their travels) to gather more materials and find new recipes!
There she'd meet new people and friends and find out how she was able to manifest a keyblade in the first place.
She also wrote letters to her family and Mogsy every once and a while to see how they were doing and Mogsy
would sometimes send her new recipes that would aid her in her travels.... something like that. lol
I left it open ended so I can use her in groups easily while still giving her a goal.
I should redraw her Original Moogle version some day for fun. ^^
*The funniest part was that I made her up BEFORE there was a Moogle keyblade wielder in the actual game. lol

OH! OH, THIS IS AMAZING! Hahaha, man, I love this backstory; plus, I am even more in love with that Keyblade design now that I realise that caveat!
Plus,not a lot of blacksmith/craftsmen OCs in... well, most fandoms. But especially in KH, I've seen fighters, support, medics, defenders, but never have I seen a crafting-focused Keybearer.

In a plathora of KH Ocs luck sort of played a role in her creation so I'm glad it worked out! haha!
And thank you. ^^ The shaft of the KB are pipes too to get that idea of an oven. lol
I'm going to update the school girl version of Mogana soon. I drew her backpack. lol

Looking forward to it! ... gotta admit, this whole OC group in general now has me intrigued to learn more about it... especially upon looking at the comic and realising "Oshit, wait,mentor Kida?" ... 'cause that is, again, a hell of a twist on the usual Disney character role. And... makes a crapton of sense; Atlanteans have supernaturally-ridiculous longevity thanks to the Heart of Atlantis, so it'd make perfect sense for her story to have probably already happened to boot.
And serious, serious props here; I adore everything about this blade design!

Oh! Well, it's a bit on a hiatus at the moment. 
But It's cause I was participating in an OTC called the Race of Dreams with prompts for our OCs but what was
really cool was that we were lumped into teams and the people of my team had Kida as a mentor/princess.

Dang... that is a shame; this all sounds super interesting and a fresh new take on the KHverse from your standard angles of exploration... but at least you got Mogana out of it, eh? ^^
