Description Remember how I said that I would always color my pictures after I submitted a few sketches, well, this picture is just so awesome black and white that I had to submit it before it was covered with color! Also remember me saying a little while back that I would always fully scale my drawings, well I spoke too soon. It is great to fully scale drawings but it takes just so damn long, I can't do it for them all! I mean, this piece took FOREVER to get fully scaled! It was the first picture I had inked BEFORE the drawing was finished! Oh well, it was worth the time for such impressive work! I tried to add anpersoective effect to Godzilla's tail but I'm not sure if it worked. what do you guy's think? Anyway, this also so happens to be my first art trade, one that I did with . This was actually a picture I had in storage for a while and finally decided to finish for this trade and damn it turned out well! I hope you guys all enjoy!

Why thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it! As for how long it took., oh yeah it did, it SOOOO did, but it was totally worth it, all the way! I'm not sure Godzilla's tail came out as perspective-impressive as planned but oh well, I gave it my best shot! This is actually my first art trade, along with the first time I use the circular scales technique, so I'm proud of how this came out! The person I did the art trade with had just such impressive art that I knew I had to think outside the box to even try and match hers. Also, considering how long I worked on this, just try finding an error in either of their designs! I even used a figure I own of Final Wars Goji for his spines so they should be almost exact! I spared no expense with this one!

I'm so glad you decided to finish this! It looks wonderful! I wasn't sure what to expect, but the detail is quite nice and the posing realistic to what you see in the Godzilla movies. I especially like what you did with Gigan, the strafing lines on the mechanical parts of his body look really technical like they should, and those chainsaw hands appear oh so devious and deadly. I think Godzilla's going to regret going for that one limb!

A very nice enactment indeed. Thank you for going through with your end of the trade, I was getting worried there for a while. I'm very satisfied with your hard work.

Good luck on your future projects! I'd love to see more Big G works from you in the future.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this so much! I must have worked for HOURS getting all those scales on Godzilla together and the mechanical whirs on Gigan connecting to all the right places! It was hard work but it was SOOOO worth it! I can't wait to see how this baby comes out colored! Yes, I'm not done with it yet, just like yours, it's getting color!

Mine wasn't intended to have color, just decided to leave it in at he last minute (that's why there are two versions of it; one in greyscale and one that has some color). But I certainly won't try to change your mind if you think your work needs color! You're the artist.

But yes, the effort you put into it shows. I know how long it takes to make individual scales on Godzilla; I've done it myself a whole bunch. (In the past I made Godzilla comics and took the time to scale him then). You did a great job! I'll guess I'll have to wait and see how the color turns out.

Well, I am very glad that you decided to color it in! It makes it look SOOO much better, even if a few effects are inaccurately colored! I will try my best to get this one colored to the best of my ability for maximum awesomeness! I tried to give Godzilla's tail a perspective view. Do you think it worked?

Hmmm, well I can tell you tried with perspective, so that's a good thing. I think if you brought the tail in much closer, to the point of it actually going off the page and then coming back on with a sense of movement in the foreground, it would have had a much greater effect. You could have done the same with buildings to give the illustration more depth, but what you've done is doing the job for me.

My opinion on my own work is that the black and white version is more uniform, and therefore more attractive, but that's only my preference. Color does help in certain situations. ^_^

I think I know how to fix it but it might be tool late now that I've inked it. I'll try to fix it but I'm not sure if I can. Anyway, I personally enjoy color but the scales were so detailed in this one that it had to be posted in both black and white and in color! I will try my best to get it done to the best of my ability, whatever that may be!

I think what matters most is if you're satisfied with your work. So I hope you don't plan to "fix" it just because of my opinions, if you like it as is that should be enough!

I always love it when we get to see a work in both black and white and in color. It shows a bit of the progression of the piece and seems very honest. I thank you for even considering the idea, and even more so for trying to make both versions a reality.

I couldn't agree more! Oh, and don't worry about my edit's, it's of my own volition and wanting to improve most of all! Then again, I'm not even sure if it's possible at this point. Knowing me and what I have already finished, I doubt edits will ever see the light of day on this one, at least not in the way I was thinking of for Goji's tail! I also like to see pictures in both options, though color always give it that impressive vivid flare! I'm glad you appreciate my work, it does me good! I wasn't sure if people would like my art at first, especially considering that artists as impressive as Matt Frank are here, posting his masterpieces of awesomeness that make my work look like I did it in the bathroom!

Whoa, yeah, Frank's a bit of a legend. He makes most of us look terrible. XD But that's why he's the hired goods! He's earned it.

Of course I like your work! Anyone who makes Big G art is making effort worth appreciating in my book.
