I have heard of the theory that he has rabies but never did I hear about him wanting to kill Squirrelflight.That would be kinda sad but maybe interesting since the the deputy will be dead they might have to chase Bramblestar out of the camp and that would leave them with no leader.

That's the part of the AU, he does try to kill Squirrelflight but she kills him instead. It's a really interesting plot ;o
