I got photoshop up and running again!
I realize the angle doesn't emphasize the title as the previous shot [link] , but this one is sharper and the colors are more vivid!

This is a beautiful shot, you might want to blur the leaf, not that it is bad, just that it forms a distraction. You see the brightest patch in the background? It's aligned with the center of the rose, since you have ample light on the petals, you should try and make the contrast to the best of your advantage.

The leaf was actually an intentional part of the composition.. dunno I liked it. As for the other point, if I understood it correctly - I should have made the center of the flower brighter, you're right. However, for the background, I didn't want to make it solid, ie, I wanted to put some bokeh effect. Maybe it turned out too bright!
