Loving all your work. This one has a raw and edgy quality that keeps me coming back to it. Super, period.Β Β

I really like this. There's so much of interest going on. I don't have enough to say about it to write a critique, by I'd suggest cropping it from the right to a 1:1.25 aspect; all that extra shape and shadow there at the right kind of draw the eye away, distracting a little from the main focus of the scene.

Hmm, that is not a bad idea, or even 4:3 ratio would work. But I'm a bit averse to cropping like that. I like to crop to 16:9 to give a cinematic feeling but that's about. I agree with you feedback though! I should have composed it by panning more to the left.

I understand. I like 16:9 myself, and I do like 3:2 but for some reason I just can't usually compose a good photo that way, so I end up cropping to 4:3 and 5:4 mostly, but I'm just a beginner really. (I just realized I did the ratio wrong in my original comment; seeβ€”total beginner! ) In any case, I think it's great you even noticed the scene and that it would make a good photo!

Just keep shooting. I filling a frame is very hard, but practicing with it consistently is how you get better. Challenge yourself not to use cropping as a crutch but only as an enhancement to an already well-composed photo.

Thanks! I'll take your advice, keep practicing and do my best!

That's funny. Meanwhile, the one laying down on the left is disturbing. It looks like a dead body covered in plastic!

Yeah, I thought so too! Overall odd scene!
