Thank you! I enjoyed your critique: thorough, honest, and well argued.

You must have been there pretty early in the morning. I used to live in that area, (yeah, I know...) and it's surprising to see all the streets so clear.
Beautiful shot.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? If you did not tell that it is a photograph i couldn't tell. Awesome!

It's always amazing how you can make a very real place seem so unreal!

That IS an interesting building center-of-photo. Industrial up top, traditional European down below. Buttresses I've not seen except on medieval cathedrals, done in modern materials. Whole thing oddly shaped to fit the street corner. Neighbors not any more normal in architecture. Next to a pretty hefty rail yard, so, I'm guessing there's industry nearby?

I stand corrected. That's a lot of train tracks though, in the states, where I live, normally something like that is by a factory. I forget Japan is passenger train heavy.

So how would it look in 4K Either here's something missing or you will be cropping this.

That means that my original question remains as this image is 3:2 which is no 16:9. Ad ergo either something missing, or something to much. As you say the original is a 3:2 of 3840x2560 and you are offering it as a 16:9 of 3840x2160 you are cropping and the end result is not visible here.

Ah sorry! I misunderstood the cropping question. Yeah, you are right. I cropped the high-res version to fit 16:9. I also realized I typed 2560 in my first comment and 2160 in my second one. The version on sale is 3840x2160. Do you think it's preferred to go with 3:2, 3840x2560?
The reason I crop it is because most monitors these days are 16:9 and I want to make sure the crop is at the best possible place and not arbitrarily in the center.
Sorry again for the confusion!

I thought it was 3D art at first. It's very neat.

Is it good or bad that the image is so tidy and crisp that it looks like a 3D render...?

I love this image. I am from a big city and have moved to a small town and hate it. This image makes me "feel" like I'm back in Houston.
