Yeah, at 100 ISO and 30 seconds, noise is not an issue in my experience. And yeah, it would be a more 'seamless' shot. I am also rarely on the tripod. It's a lot of work!

This is a great scene, splendidly captured from a really choice vantage point! The symmetry, the leading lines, the colours, the light trails and the subject itself are all complete eye-candy that just keeps you looking and looking. This would make a good poster or large art print (at a suitably high resolution of course). I like the indicator flashing lines and the interesting range of "white" in the headlights as much as anything else in this shot
