Description while this wasn't meant to be an experiment it morphed into one all the same. i was "reclaiming" a piece of stonehenge after another drawing didn't work out and so i was starting with a very dark base... which called for the addition of much more white than my norm.

much thanks! I have one other unfinished/not happy piece that I have stowed away somewhere, i think i will try another recovery. wish me luck.

Wowza!!! Excellent work Kevin!! Bravo and hats off to you!! The whiskers, fur and hair are so realistic and I love the innocent look in his eyes. Also, you've achieved great depth with your highlights and shadows. I love his slight smirk too! Beautiful drawing dear!!
