Many months overdue, finally here is my part of my art trade with of her character, Tioku, a desaturated dark red wolf skeleton

tip: turn up the brightness on your screen. Image is very dark with low contrast, it's easier to see it with a bright screen.
another tip: zoom in to see in wonderful quality where you can pick out all of my coloring and shading mistakes that I neglected to clean up not thinking the image would be this big holy crap you'd think I would've learned by now

I'm not a huge fan of the greyscale background (or just the background in itself lmao), I think it would've been better in color, but I really hadn't known where I was going with it from the beginning lmao. Originally was gonna do a graveyard, gave up on the graveyard, thought about a swamp, threw out the swamp, entertained the idea of a cave, kinda made a cave. But it's still greyscale lol there's really no explanation for that. It just kinda happened, I guess?? Idk, I knew I needed a really dark background, for a light one completely threw off the colors of the character, but I hadn't planned on sticking to near-black. *shrug* oh well

Definitely the most challenging of my three art trades that I scheduled. I'd never drawn a full skeleton before, and I'm certain the anatomy is off, especially in those legs and that rib cage. Had to stare at quite a few difference references before I figured out how certain things look, though I'm plenty aware certain things aren't quite right. However, I am pleased with how the majority of the bones came out. I'll never say how many hours it took me to sketch and line them all, but I still like them nonetheless

and omg please forgive me for that sorry attempt at fog holy crap I really didn't know what I was going for there but I didn't quite make it
