oh man, her gloves have a hole in them? I'd not noticed that before. I've been drawing them wrong! I'll make sure to draw that detail when I submit my entries to your contest!

Don't worry about it too much, but this does make me really happy that the references I've posted have enough detail!

Thank you!Β I was careful not to put any stripes on top of seam lines if I could help it!Β The main place it happens is down the middle of her back!

I have tried to paint backs before, I suck at it.

It's definitely tricky!Β I find that first I have to start by using vector lines on top of a seam guide, and then I save a version of thatΒ - for example "bashcat_torso_A_001" and then apply it in DAZ and see how the lines actually line up, because even with the seam guide it's still tricky for me!Β Then after seeing how it looks, I'll go back to my art program (I use Paint Tool SAI) and adjust the lines, and save a new version - "bashcat_torso_A_002" and then apply that in DAZ and repeat that process until everything seems to be lined up properly.Β Since DAZ simplifies things in the live/preview view, sometimes I have to run a quick render to really see where the lines have ended up.Β Once it looks like everything is actually lined up, then I start filling colors inside the vector lines, and *usually* that keeps things lined up!Β Usually XD
