Description This is me at a Star Wars convention posing with Jim Swearingen who was one of the lead designers for Kenner Toys in the 70's and 80's. He was responsible for the design of the earlier Star Wars toys and action figures. He talked about how they had problems with the early Jawa capes and the prototype Boba Fett action figure at his Q&A. It was cool going up to his table later in the day and telling him how I had the same Darth Vader action figure he had at his table (adding in it was a hand me down from my older brothers). Real kind and soft spoken guy. He asked if I still collected toys as an adult. I told him I did, mentioning I had this two in one Jawa figure, that was designed that when you shine a light above their heads, the eyes glowed (I think he found that cool) and that I had a Greedo action figure signed by the guy who played him. Fun fact: He was interviewed on the first episode of the Netflix series 'The Toys that Made Us'
