Many of you i am sure remember the classic Disney film 'Bambi.' What you might not know is that Donnie Dunagan who voiced the young deer when he was just a lad later enlisted in the Marines at the age of 18. He became one of the youngest drill sergeants in the Corp. Served three tours in Vietnam where he was wounded enough times to receive 3 Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. He eventually retired at the rank of Major. But throughout his military career, he never told anyone he had voiced Bambi because he was afraid his fellow Jar Heads would tease him and give him an embarrassing nickname he'd never be able to shake off🦌💜💜💜
