My better half and I recently had to say goodbye to our dog Katrina. She was a Bull Mastiff who my lady had at her side for eleven years. I only had the pleasure of knowing her for a year and a half or so but I wouldn't trade one second of that time for anything under the sun. It was the first time in my life I called a dog mine. When we said goodbye on November 30th it was also the first time in my 40 years on earth that I lost something/someone that I saw literally every day. I hugged literally every day. Pretty amazing that I've managed to make it this far without a major loss due to death like that.

Anyway . . . Enough of the sad part . . . Anna (my Lady's name) hadn't spent a day without a dog at her side in over fifteen years leading up to Katrina's death and made it two days before she went to look at a nearby shelter for a new perspective friend. When I got off of work that Saturday night I got to come home to this handsome young man who we named Seven. I think it's fairly safe to say that this will be far from the last you'll see of him here on deviantART so I figured I'd take the time to introduce him to all my friends here.
