By popular demand here is the template for making your own Red vs Blue Freelancer!Contact Me so I can add your Freelancers to the list once you're done!
If you're not good at drawing, here are some spartan bases with more to come. Examples of great templates by others is below!
Name:
Age: On average our canon Freelancer are late twenties, early thirties.
Alias: Agent Inserthere, Foxtrot358, The Awesomnator
Nationality: Remember, it's not just an international organisation but interplanetary. Why be from Germany when you can be from the German Colony of Kampflos?
Appearance: Eye colour. Hair length, style and colour. Common expressions. Skin colour. Scars. Body type. Posture. Body Language. Casual clothes and accessories.
Why were they Chosen for Project Freelancer: The hypothesis of an experiment often determines who you select your candidates. What criteria did the Director use in his selection progress? How do they match up? Did the Director get what he wanted? What databases did he search and how did your OC measure up. Possible origins may include;
High qualifying soldiers, military schools
People with nothing to lose, such as prisons and orphans
Volunteers
Abduction/ Stockholm Syndrome
Ability to master spartan armour
Ability to master enhancements
Personality matching an AI.
Personality: THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR BIO! Start with a single defining characteristic (Church the jerk, Simmons the Nerd, Doc the Pacifist) and expand on it. How does it affect their personal lives, positiviely and negatively. How does it affect their professional lives, positively and negatively. How does it affect them on the job, positively and negatively.
Relationships: Friends, lovers, crushes, rivals, enemies, authority figures. Why do they chose these relationships?
Armour: Primary colour, secondary colour, tertiary colour. Helmet. Shoulders. Chest. Personal modifications. Also, why get stuck with a boring black and red theme, when there's a whole rainbow of shades and tones out there! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_…
Armour Enhancements: What is your armour enhancement? What does it look like? How does your Freelancer prefer to use it? What are its strengths? What are its weaknesses and drawbacks. Be creative! I like this site, x-men.wikia.com/wiki/Category:… and I keep hitting random until I find one that suits the Freelancer Universe, eg technology rather than magic. No magic shape changing, but perhaps the ability to ignite the air for explosions using pseudo-science. Or the AI can read body language so well its practically foresight..... More interesting that the constant Overshield and Superspeed.
AI: What is their Greek letter? Do they have a nickname? What part of the Alpha do they represent? What does their avatar look like? How do the pair get on? Do they modify each others behaviour? Specialization: A skill they are recognised and used for during missions. Why did they chose it? Are they selected on specific missions because of it?
Preferred Weapons and Fighting Techniques: Many RvB characters have a weapon they identify with. Church and his sniper. Tucker and his sword. Sarge's Shotgun Maine's bruteshot. Carolina's duel wielding Needlers. Does your character have such a weapon? Why did they choose it? Fighting techniques are dependant on their character. Eg, the difference between brawling Tex and agile Carolina.

Backstory: Where were they before Project Freelancer. Has it influenced their time in Freelancer.
Fanfiction: If there's a fanfiction, a bio is good advertising for it.
Theme Songs: A bit of fun, is there music you associate with your OC?
Quotes: Again, a bit of fun but are their quotes that sum up your OC?

Of course. The only states off limits are the canon ones. My OC is an Agent Indiana and there are dozens!

I think you'd struggle to use Muro but you could try saving it to your computer and try opening it on the bottom layer.
I'd actually recommend investing in a free graphics program. If you sign up for an Adobe account here www.adobe.com/ , and then get adobe photoshop for free by clicking on this Free Photoshop Then you download Adobe Photoshop CS2. From there there are lots of tutorials on how to uses bases. Good luck!

Woe is me for I cannot draw! Still, I will definitely refer to this when planning characters in the future. It's nice to have a template to look at when planning so you can remember what's already been covered and what still needs work.

Sorry mate, I have a list of rules to earn a template and Louisiana is still missing a bunch, [link] most specifically attention to spelling, punctuation and capitalisation. Once you care about Louisiana enough to get those right I know he's worth the effort. Try some bases [link] and gimp www.gimp.org to get you started.
