Then you just get over the callouses and no time to play anymore. Lol :-D

I think now though, I am at the stage in my life, where it's photography and my writing of poems first,then if time for anything else fine - am happy this way now, I don't go out, so I put what time I do get, in to my arts.

I wouldn't say no to the violin again though, electric violin, loved playing that very much, was good too at the time.

Played the violin briefly while at school, didnt agree with me. lol
I have played in a brass band since the age of 11. Self taught guitar and piano and no very good.
As long as you enjoy what you do, that's the key I think.

Some instruments are easy for some and not others, vice versa.

I agree totally with what you said - as long as we each enjoy what we do, yes, it is the key.

Had to play piano. I love listening to it, just didn't enjoy being forced to play it.

I am picky about my strings lol. The damn store near me had to order the ones I need. (yes not want.. I NEED) lol aww that was nice I have my grandmothers old guitar lol. She played a little and I play a lot. I have an acoustic though

Accoustics are great, better in some respects, tonal wise.
And yep, I know what ya mean about the NEED over Want.

Oh yes I like electric but mmm the rich tones of acoustic I have to resist dancing while I play! haha yes what I need is what I need glad you see it the same as I!
