Description Time for a proper comment on this. This is an image I am proud of. The photo was taken at Amtrak's 30th street station in Philadelphia...truly a marvel of architectural design in virtually every space it occupies from outside to inside. This photo represents my first experiments with medium format imaging and I love everything about the process, relative to medium format cameras. This was shot on an old decrepit Yashica twin lens reflex box camera that was made to look like a Rollei, but it was GREAT! Being able to frame an image looking using a huge hooded ground glass reflection on the top of the camera was so freeing to me that I instantly got hooked.

I was able to experiment with a couple of medium format cameras in school and am grateful for that experience. Unfortunately, I've been unable to revisit medium format photography due to cost and splintered interests, but one day I will definitely immerse myself in this secret passion of mine again.

Just got back from Michigan to help my little sis move in for her second year at UMich. GO WOLVERINES! This is a continuation of the old work I recent started posting.

The image is at a great angle and you chose the perfect coloring for it. Black and white definitely brings out it's qualities and it also gives it such an old time feel.

Thanks very much that was definitely something I strived pretty hard for for that expanded grey. Being that Gordon Parks was one of my biggest creative heroes and he worked almost exclusively in the primarily grey area I fell in love when I found the location at that time of day.
