Everything is alive
Animals scurry
Plants grow
Wind stirs
The sun shines
Then suddenly there is a bright flash
A meteor drops from the sky
With a great crash it collides with the earth
A shock-wave extends out for miles
Sending out a huge dust cloud that envelopes everything
Soon it clears away
Revealing the effect of the meteor
Where once there was life everywhere
Now there is nothing
The land is barren
The animals gone
The wind too weak to move the rocks left over
The sun blocked by thick brown clouds
Then the clouds turn darker
And lightning starts to fork across the sky
Finally rain starts to fall from the black clouds
First a sprinkle, then a torrent
Dowsing the barren land in water
Beneath the wet dirt
Things start to move
Seeds crack open
Underground creatures stir in their nests
By the time the rain has stopped falling,
The sky has cleared
Revealing a bright sun
Green pokes through the earth
The creatures stick their heads out
Time drags on
The plants continue growing out
Stretching towards the sun
Small trees begin to take form
Other animals begin to return too
Seasons pass as the land is restored
But finally the scars from the meteor has healed
And beauty has returned to the land
