ah, hm. Sounds interesting. Sounds similar to what Jim Lee does, though he tends to use a more blocky method (from Bridgman's Life Drawings book).

well he sorta describes it..basically interlocking shapes together or something...
He also gesture draws first with a really really light pencil (that I couldn't see in the video, lol).

Really nice work. Although I don't think it would need a lot of background details, if the colorist did some nice weather-y color effects, like a stormy sky and lightning.

Eh, I don't think it's cheating, when there's really no need for that background detail, but just focusing on the figure of Storm.
