While Trixie struggles with her decisions and her own mental battle, Starlight is over-joyed with her newborn foal, Luster Dawn. Starlight and Sunburst live happily as a family with their foal, unknowing of Trixie’s troubles.

All Trixie wanted was a happy life with Starlight as her wife and mother to her child. But seeing her become so in love with her husband and her own child, Trixie seethes in anger. Not towards Starlight, not towards Sunburst or their foal, but towards herself. How could she be so stupid to think Starlight would would give up everything she has to be with her. As Trixie and Starlight’s foal, Moonlight Radiance (3 at this time) grows older, Trixie inevitably grows resentment towards her decision, the decision to have a foal in the first place.

Trixie having already failed a foal once before vowed not to fail this one. She couldn’t give herself anymore time to ruin the little ones sense of safety and understanding of love. She knew what she had to do to make things right for Starlight, herself and her baby.
