Isn't it strange how something that is destroyed or damaged can still seem beautiful all it takes is someone with an eye for beauty. Just like you...This is a beautiful shot the colours, the lighting, everythingis just awsome!

This one caught my eye. I live the simplicity yet the depth of detail. Nicely composed.

The focal work provides such a dramatic touch.
Wonderful eyes, to have spotted this poetry in the wild.

That's a sad but beautiful statement.
You do have the poet within you.

It was the only way I knew how to deal with all that I was going through. This may be another winter of looking down and through the lens, but I've begun to throw away some of the weight, so I expect to be looking up a bit more.
As for that poet, she has temper tantrums and the blues sometimes. But at other times, she dances. I'm missing those moments of grace...

Keep dancing Rachel.
As your kids and most of your friends assuredly know,
It's your pirouettes that keep the world spinning.

Ahh. Good. I was getting worried. Especially since I've stopped dancing. I was beginning to feel a bit out of control... sort of a whirling dervish.

Lovely study of the texture and form, and the muted colour palette of blue-greys created by the focus is very pretty.

Thanks, Damienne. I hope I find more this winter, but I'd truly hoped to find one blooming.

Well if you do, I know you'll make something beautiful from it. What sort of plant is this anyway?

I really do not know. That is one reason I'd like to find it again. I want to know what it looks like growing.

What an incredible feeling I get from this. Such dread and lifelessness to look forward to, yet such beauty.
Wonderful DoF and colors in this one.

Thank you, Bill. I find much beauty in all seasons, and I try to capture it as best as I can.

Eh, it's such perfection ... Still staring at it. Too much in this empty pod. And such a graceful line to its stem, still.
