A young opiliones was hanging out in one of the silver maple trees on the way into the meadow...This little gal's body was roughly 4 cm across the longest way. With legs, she spanned perhaps 3 cm if outstretched. (I'm not sure if it really was female, but it was a sweet and shy creature...)
I love the way the light created halos in this shot.

I love the light, too! I am used to spiders and welcome some of them around the house but it is a rarity that I actually take a liking to one. Gorgeous work. Or should I say, co-work between a lady and a spider.
