Description This is one of two entries for 's Shadow contest, where you have to pick a title & make a pic for it. Ever since I drew Princess Elise & Silver together, I've been wanting to draw another girl & her hedgehog; Maria & Shadow. I drew her in anime style, but it doesn't look much that way does it? Well, I tried. I also tried something new with the eyes after I read an eye tutorial here that inspired me; everything, like the pupil, shiny spots, etc. was done on the comp. My next entry will be a Sonic VS. Shadow showdown! *gets started on that one*

Thanks, bro! ^^ I usually suck at drawing humans, too, but I'm improving slowly but surely methinks. Anime style was tricky, I may stick to drawing humans more realistically. XD

I love how you pu the glow around Maria, kinda makes her look angelic. Your smooth shading never ceases to amaze me! I love Shadow, he looks very calm and pensive. Great entry, and good luck!
