Rod, mortified at having his hero find him in such a state of undress, ran across the room to find something to wear. He had always wanted to meet the great Ethan Davis but this is not how he pictured it happening. "What did I tell you about not touching the props" Ethan said angrily. "Um, sorry, it was all my fault" Rod blurted out, speaking at a panicked pace almost as fast as he had been talking the night before. "I'm a huge fan and I didn't know you were Chris' uncle, and then I found out when I came over, and I'm a huge fan, and I just wanted to try one of your props because I'm such a big fan", he was talking so fast and erratically that Ethan strained to keep up.

Anton, who had remained silent since discovering the guest, was perched on the edge of the dining table. Unable to hold his composure any longer, he burst out laughing. "Come on Ethan, you can drop the act, you're going to scare the kid to death" he said.
