An intriguing compilation of colours, somewhat bleak yet still warm. I guess the sun does embrace all areas in an equally affectionate manner. Nevertheless, an excellent job capturing the overwhelmingly long shadows and the atmosphere of the scene!

Great photo, I love the feeling I get from looking at this. Thanks to the grey clouds everything seems to be colourless and the light seems to be nearly surreal. All in all a wonderful taken shot!

Yes, the terrain in and around the area is very flat with a low horizon. When the sun sets it is visible on the horizon and causes shadows to stretch well into the distance. I'll be posting "Off the Shoulder" in the near future which has similar angles of light in a different setting. Very beautiful to witness, but difficult to capture in an image. Thank you!
