Downloading your game right now; so excited to try it out.... in the mean time, your animations look incredible... especially considering that it's just you who is doing them all (or am I wrong?)!  When I first stumbled onto a vid of somebody playing your game on YouTube, I thought it was based on Mugen, which I'm all to familiar with.... but the fact that you're using OpenBOR, something I've never used before, makes me look forward to playing it even more!

for intro when entering and ending the stage yes,  but im not sure yet what advantage such transformation would have during fights

Sounds good. I was wondering if you could implement other characters that can be summoned to help in a a fight? Maybe Stratos could fly across the screen hitting enemies as he goes by much like Archangel in the first X-Men game on the Megadrive (that game had a few characters you could summon like that in battle)?

I will create most characters eventually, summoning helper character wouldnt be hard, after sorceress i will create man-at-arms or beastman but now ihave to rerender her anims again cause i was 1% off when resizing and shes a bit too small... i.imgur.com/hChCiBi.png

Well you're going to be busy for awhile So how long does it take for you to create an animated character such as the "walk cycle"?

really depends, with sorceress the hardest part to animate was movement of her mask on head when shes walking, i spend a couple of hours animating just that small movement so it looks right, usually it takes about 40 minutes to animate walkcycle/export it and code it into game.
With simple characters it takes about 15 hours to animate idle/walk/pain/attack/fall/rise animations and code them into game, so its about one day to create character in the morning and at about midnight you have character ingame but you have to work non stop no breaks.

Very interesting. You must have square eyes from staring at the screen all day I was wondering if you will have any of those side scrolling levels where you use a vehicle instead of walking such as the Windraider or Sky Sled or something? That would be cool
