I don`t even know where to begin to write description to this one...i started this picture as a relax painting from stress and sadness i`m constantly in. It was another character and far more darker vision that was born as a very crappy pencil sketch with wrecked proportions.After scanning it, i started to correct mistakes and paint over it...half way to finished piece, I deleted all layers, made another line art and started a new. Probably that`s why it lost original dark and bloody idea i had at first...It`s very hard to describe feelings and thoughts i had while painting...I`m constantly having this fight with myself about drawing, and what future i have with it, as I found myself very miserable sometimes...but i just can`t give up on it, its a cursed gift I received. And trying to find a way is always painful, as i constantly fight with self doubts...while painting this, I decided to start drawing comic again.
i don`t know how it will turn out, but this time i will try to do it right and have many things I want to share with you all.
Bellus Northwind, character I painted in this picture is one of the main characters in the story i`m hoping to put to pages for you to read. I created him few years ago, as an opposite side of myself...so everything he is I am not...ahaha...I needed another imaginary friend, i guess.
At the same time my friend and my writer ~http //amalaaniwa.deviantart.com/: , created character too and we started to write sms story... which have grew into a world far beyond. We where so hooked we started to live in that world...creating a story along..funny thing is, after all these years, we never ever put it aside as we did with other stories. I`m quite excited to start working with it.
Haha...here comes my first share of spoils...not about story yet, but about the process and some weird explaining of things. I rarely speak of my art, but i will try to do it more, and provide some bigger and better view what is beneath if.

nah, talent here is only one drop in the sea...everything rest is work...so with work everything is achievable.
and i never think i can draw better than others. I found drawing very personal thing fro each person, and i have vision we are on the same line of getting better at it....so anyone can draw.
and i should spare criticisms for myself, but its hard.

I really understand what you mean. I now go to school for art and its hard to believe if what im doing will make me happy or if its right.
But at the same time even with all the stress drawing will always be a part of you, I say keep striving for the best you can do and draw for no one but yourself ( except for commissions lol) I really enjoy this piece its very detailed and the background appears very delicate only suggestions would be to add a little more higlight to his cheek and more shadow and diffent colours into the eyes
