I hate that most, it happens to me too, like, always D:
whenever I have free time, my head can't create anything, but when i'm buried in homewokr and exams, my head creates massively fast lol AND AT 2 AM!

You can just surfing around DA, looking at other artists's work to find inspiration, or maybe go on some Virtual Pet sites, some of them have really cool creatures XD you can draw them to free from art block. Well, it's what I usually do 8D

Yeah lol I've been surfing DA but then was like........what else should I look up haha. I do sometimes copy others to gain more of an understanding on how they get the detail, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt but it was worth a shot
I've started on a picture now, its actally a photograph that I took and I'm copying from, It's quite scary haha. I wanna watercolour it but I'll ruin the sketch
