Description

An old abandoned past relic of our American History, when steel and iron were plentiful and automobiles were built SOLID AS A ROCK. Many times in my childhood days of growing up in Indiana, on the farm, I would watch my mother and father as they worked day and night every weekday through the week. Then dad would haul old junk cars and trucks home on weekends for parts or to fix up for resale. A lot of times after he had parted them out or sold them for scrap, it generated extra income for our household. Those were the days I wish I had the old cars that used to set like an old monument in our barnyard’s and hayfields.

While attending our Family Reunion in Young Harris Georgia, a few years ago while sightseeing, I saw this old Pontiac resting peacefully in an open field. A part of our American Heritage that was discontinued a few years back from the General Motors Product Line, this is a true American icon.
